Dear Father Rothan,
For the past 3 years, I have participated in the Hershey Half Marathon each October and have attended the Saturday night Vigil Masses at your parish.
Each year, I have been impressed by my experience at Mass: While there has been a different celebrant for each of my visits, I have found the celebrants and your parish community to have a very welcoming feeling. Everyone from your celebrants to the lector and congregation all feel as though they are actively participating and not just going through the motions.
This past week, Father Pious (I believe) celebrated Mass. His homily was one of the most engaging, thought provoking I have heard! He brought the message of the Gospel and scripture readings to a level everyone could understand. I could listen to him for hours!
I shouldn't say this, but I wish I had a parish near my home that felt as right to me as yours does. But at least I know I have a great one to visit.
