Fr. Sahd and Students from SJA made the local paper yesterday! It's time to start thinking about those New Year's Resolutions, after all, January is hiding right around the corner! We want to challenge this year to take on a resolution that will not only benefit you... but someone else too. Make this year count! Here are just a few ideas to consider: There are several opportunities to grow in your faith within our parish community. If you are not already attending daily Mass that is a great place to start! We have two Masses at 6:45am & 9:00am. We have several Bible Study groups and a new prayer group that meet each week. There are also monthly opportunities to grow in your faith such as Eucharistic Adoration each First Friday and Caelorum. Young Adult Ministry kicks off January 14th. If you are under 35 years old, our St. Joan of Arc is a large parish... so we have a lot going on... all the time! If you aren't already involved in one of our parish ministries... please consider it! We have over 40 ministries, which guarantees there is something for everyone. Not sure where to start? You can check out all of our parish ministries here or call us and we will happily help you to find a fit for your time and talent! Simplify your giving to the Church by enrolling in our parish Online Giving program. You can have your contributions to the Church deducted electronically without any worry or effort. You pick the payment method, frequency and amount... and YOU change it whenever you want. No more remembering to grab your envelope as your headed to Mass or scribbling a check as you are sitting the pew. Read more here Embrace your Catholic Faith! There a ton of awesome tools and apps available to you that are tailored specifically to our faith. There is something for everything from an examination of conscience for confession to offering prayers for women who are actively considering abortion. We encourage you to explore the many resources available to you. The object of a New Year is not that we should have a new year. Please consider supporting Project Gym Floor and make a donation to help us complete the fundraising to upgrade the gym. Any contribution, regardless of how small, is greatly appreciated. We are getting so close and need your help!
You can read more about this initiative here Just a reminder.. Confessions will be heard tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Church.
