Father Al warmly invites the faithful volunteers of our parish to a very special Christmas gathering in honor of the time and service you graciously contribute throughout the year. We would like to thank each of you on behalf of our entire parish community.
We hope you can drop in to join us for some food, drinks and companionship as we celebrate and thank you for the blessings of time, talent, and treasure you bring to our parish of St. Joan of Arc.
On Monday, December 19th we will be decorating the Church for Christmas. Decorating will take place following the 9:00am Mass and at 7:00pm that evening. All help is welcomed and needed. Please remember many hands make light work! Thank you for your support in making our church beautiful as we celebrate the Christmas Season.
Please join us on Sunday, December 18th at 7:00pm for an Advent Penance Service. Several priests will be available to hear confessions.
There will be no confessions on Saturday, December 24th.
Saint Joseph can help us to live a most fruitful Advent, and for many reasons. Let us quietly meditate upon five extraordinary virtues of this greatest of all saints so that we can live a most fervent Advent season and allow Jesus to be born in the depths of our hearts this Christmas!

A little Hershey Christmas trivia involving St. Joan of Arc appeared on the Inside Hershey Facebook page this weekend.
In 1935, Milton Hershey gave each of the five churches in Hershey $20,000. Though he did not affiliate with a particular denomination as an adult, he felt churches were important for the community.
