Jackie Abel, our Director of Communications and IT, will be leaving our parish staff on October 29th. We thank Jackie for all the good she has brought to the parish and wish her all the best in her future endeavors. Ayana Elmore, our IT person at the school, will be jumping in with the bulletin and website in the future. Please be patient as we make this transition.

Father Al has placed an oil painting at each of the shrines located on either side of the main altar. These 19th century oil paintings are two of the three pieces of artwork he acquired at no cost from a Seminary in Philadelphia. They will be kept on display for you to view over the next few weeks. These painting will eventually grace our Parish Social Hall.
The painting to the left of the altar is of the Assumption of the Blessed Mother, and the painting on the right is of her Coronation. We are so privileged to have these beautiful historical paintings! A special thank you to Marcie Warner who is leaving as DRE this month. She did a great job with Vacation Bible School. While Marcie will not be employed here, she assured me that we she will volunteer and help Earl Tropp, our new full-time DRE.
We welcome Eileen Rusnack as our new Coordinator of Parish Ministries. Eileen will start this month and while she will be working just roughly ten hours a week, I know she will be a great asset in organizing, facilitating and assessing the many ministries we have in our parish! Our sincerest gratitude is extended to the these parishioners who have faithfully served in the role of Pastoral Council member during their terms that recently came to an end in June: Diane Sheehan, John Phillippy, Brian Deiling, and Chuck Stickler.
We would also like to welcome our newest Parish Pastoral Council members: Michael Corado, Deb Malaro, Sarah Bonavia, Mark Katzenmoyer and George Holobetz. Ministry Page - Pastoral Council The Parish Office will be closed Wednesday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.

Please be advised that our Online Giving Program will be temporarily unavailable on Tuesday, March 13 starting at 2:00 AM due to maintenance updates. This planned outage is anticipated to take up to 7 hours to perform and should be back online by Tuesday, March 13 at 9:00 AM.
During this maintenance window, please be aware that you will not be able to log into or access our Online Giving Program. We apologize for the inconvenience and greatly appreciate your patience. Many blessings to you! Bulletin sponsorships are essential to our parish's communication efforts. The weekly bulletin is the primary source of communication our parish has to get information to parishioners on a regular basis. The cost of producing a publication like this each week would be a financial hardship if it wasn't for our bulletin sponsorship program. We are so very grateful for the generosity of our bulletin sponsors! If you would like more information about becoming a bulletin sponsor for St. Joan of Arc Church, please contact Mike Jurosky at (717) 648-5996 or email: mjurosky@Diocesan.com |
