Today we celebrate World Day of Prayer for Vocations. Pray for vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life, especially for our diocese. Also, please consider praying for vocations or spiritually
adopting a priest as a part of your daily prayers. If you are considering such a vocation, please talk with Fr. Al or contact Fr. Brian Wayne (717) 657-4804, or email: frbwayne@hbgdiocese.org

On Friday, April 20th at 7:00 pm, a Vigil will be held in remembrance of the victims of school violence from 7:00 - 8:00 pm at Chocolatetown Square. The event is part of a national effort to say “Enough is Enough” as we remember the 13 victims of the 1999 Columbine tragedy as well as the many others killed since then. The vigil is planned to last about an hour with speakers, songs, some musical accompaniment and a presentation of a sign for some of the many school shootings that have occurred since Columbine. Participants are encouraged to bring electric candles as wind conditions could make real candles a challenge.
