From The Pastor: 05-05-2019

A number of thanks are in order:

• A special thanks to all who made our Holy Week and Easter Celebrations so special this year: Mike Davis and our music ministry; all of our liturgical ministers with a special nod to Joe Gusherowski for being Master of Ceremony for all of our liturgies; the Church decorators with kudos to Joe Yaklowich who coordinates all the volunteers; and to our priests who pitched in to help with the many    Masses and ceremonies.
• Gratitude to a parishioner who bought and donated the beautiful statue of Saint Joan of Arc that graces the front of our Parish Center. If you can believe it, it was purchased at an auction in Annville and was in the garden of someone’s backyard!
• Thanks to another parishioner who bought the  lovely triptych that was the backdrop to our repository in the church on Holy Thursday and which also enhanced our overflow Masses in the gym on Easter Sunday. This triptych was painted by Hugo Ohlms, a widely acclaimed mural artist whose works grace many churches and basilicas throughout the United States, most importantly in the Basilica of Saint Augustine in St. Augustine, Florida.

We will be emphasizing over the next few weeks our new SUMMER MASS SCHEDULE which begins Memorial Day Weekend and goes to Labor Day.

• Saturday and Sunday evening Masses will be at 5:00 pm
• Sunday morning Masses will be at 7:30 am, 9:30 am and 11:30 am

 
One last thing:

• Congratulations to all of our children who received their First Holy Communion this    weekend! We are so glad to welcome you to the table of the Lord!
