Lenten Appeal Update 3-15-2016

The Bishop’s Annual Lenten Appeal had a great start this year in our parish! We were blessed by the response from our parish community and have raised 74% of our goal already.
 
As you know, each year our parish is assessed a dollar amount from the Diocese to support this Appeal. If the contributions collected from our parishioners does not total the assessed amount, the parish is responsible for paying the difference.
 
Every family in our parish is encouraged to prayerfully consider a donation to contribute towards the assessment goal of $236,500 this year. As of today, only about 22% of the families registered in our parish have committed their support. We are thankful for any amount you may be able to give, as no gift is too small. If we would reach our goal, 100% of everything collected above that amount is returned to our parish.
 
If your employer offers a Matching Gift Program, please consider taking advantage of the opportunity to double your contribution. This is possible even if you have already a made your gift.
