Ercoli DiVittore (1927-2025)

Ercoli J. DiVittore, 98, a life-long resident of Hershey, passed away on November 4, 2025 at home.  Born July 27, 1927 in Swatara Station/Hershey, he was a son of the late Dominic and Catherine (Andrione) DiVittore.


Ercoli retired from Hershey Foods as a Maintenance Supervisor, he served during WWII in the U.S. Army Air Forces and was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church.


Mr. DiVittore is survived by; daughters, Julianne (Adi) Horrell and Lisa (Mark Malachosky) DiVittore; son, Steven  (Rose) DiVittore; grandchildren, Jennifer Whary (Eric) Maurer, Karen Patton (Kara) McShane, Matthew E. (Krista) DiVittore, Ashley Patton (Joseph) Dellasega, Thomas DiVittore, Aaron (Leslie) DiVittore, Emily DiVittore, John Paul (Berlin) DiVittore; great grandchildren, Eric and Kevin Maurer, Blaire Dellasega, Adeline Campbell, Desmond and Ignatius DiVittore, and great-great-grandchildren, Vivian, Emilia and Evelyn Maurer.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Pavone DiVittore, daughter Kathryn Whary; and brothers, Emilio, Fiore, Armando and Anthony DiVittore.


Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 11AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey.  The family will begin receiving guests at 10AM.  Interment with military honors will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery .
