Maria Kraker (1922-2024)

Maria Kraker, 92, of  Harrisburg, formerly of Hummelstown, passed away on June 4, 2024.

She was born January 18, 1932 in Gottschee, Yugoslavia, daughter of  the late Anthony and Katherine (Morowitz) Stampfl.  She was a member of St Joan of Arc Catholic Church, and enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting and embroidery.

Maria is survived by; daughter, MaryAnn (David) Pfeffer of Harrisburg, daughter, Catherine (Paul) Ingegneri of Bradenton, FL; son, Henry Kraker of East Rockaway, NY; six grandchildren and a sister, Rosalie Fuchs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Henry Kraker; son, Louis Kraker; and siblings, John Stampfl and Anna Schneider; and daughter in law, Toni Kraker.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 20, at 11AM in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey. The family will begin receiving guests at 10:30AM.  Interment will be in the Hershey Cemetery.
