Regina Smith (1940-2025)

Regina  Ann Smith, 85, formerly of Country Meadows of Hershey, passed away on October 20, 2025 in the Emerald Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Elizabethtown. She was born October 18, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Ruggerio DiPietro  and Emma (Pirato) Joss .


Regina was a graduate of the Lower Camden County Regional High School, Lindenwood NJ. She retired as a sales clerk from Boscov's Department Store in 2013.  Regina was an active Avon sales woman for years throughout the Manheim Township area in Lancaster county and active in catholic church bazaars and the Crop Walk held at the Lancaster Greek Orthodox Church.


She was the widow of Bernard L. Smith. Surviving are her children: sons, Stephen W. Hurley of Middletown and David W. Hurley of Fresno, CA; daughter, Brenda Gravel of Lancaster, sister, Linda Joss-Dyke of Wilmington, NY, sister, Margaret Johnson-Dislevy of Orlando, FL, and 8 grandchildren.


Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 11:00am in the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 W. Areba Avenue, Hershey. Inurnment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery following the Mass.  Visitation will be from 10:30am until time of the mass.
