Summary: As a Church, we are called to live, learn, and vibrantly witness to our faith through daily prayers, participation in retreats, joining small groups, and enrolling in faith formation programs. As Christ's disciples, we can learn, live, and witness more vibrantly.

Mission:  The role of this commission is to create an environment that will encourage the great majority of St. Joan of Arc parishioners to learn, live, and witness vibrantly as disciples of Christ through daily prayer, retreats, small groups, faith formation programs, and other enrichment opportunities.

Future Goals: In the future we will continue to offer retreats to encourage spiritual growth; partner with the priests and other Commissions to create a more welcoming environment before Mass and after Mass with fellowship opportunities; enhance communications within the parish and in the community; and develop meaningful ways to reach out to the un-churched and/or non-practicing Catholics in our parish.

2014 Achievements

The great majority of St. Joan of Arc parishioners are caring more deeply for those within the parish that need special assistance and reaching out to help the needy in the community and around the world.

2013 Achievements

This commission has been responsible for hosting several mini retreats and workshops; ensuring faith building and evangelization messages at the parish festival; offering a teaching Mass and facilitating several adult study groups; highlighting SJA activities in the local papers; and exploring other communications methods, especially social media, to reach more parishioners.
