Do you ever wonder why Catholics do what they do? As Catholics we learn our faith as children but we don’t have a full understanding of our beliefs and practices as adults. We must seek out time in our busy lives to learn and deepen our faith in order to be the person God created us to be. The answers can be explored in the Bible.
The I Thirst Prayer Community is a group of people who want to learn more about their faith, the true meaning and understanding of scriptures in the Bible in order to grow in holiness and enter into an intimate relationship with God. Peter and the first disciples received the Holy Spirit, lived in community with one another, supported one another, and went out to make Christians of all nations as commanded by Jesus. We have received the same Spirit and are also called to live in community and make disciples of all people! We are the Church. |
