The Mission of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul
Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, leads men and women to grow spiritually by offering person to person service to those who are needy. The Society collaborates with other people of good will in relieving need and addressing its causes.
Vincentians are united in an international society of charity by their spirit of poverty, humility and sharing, which is nourished by prayer and reflection, mutually supportive gatherings and adherence to a basic Rule.

The St.Vincent dePaul Society of St. Joan of Arc would like to thank all the parishioners who so generously gave this Christmas to the Giving Tree Program.
Most of the 800 plus ornaments was taken from the Giving Trees. Our local families in need received gifts and much needed financial aid for rent and utilities. We were also able to send donations to our sister parish in Jamaica and to the Hershey Food Bank. Some of the donations will be used by the St. Vincent de Paul Society throughout the coming year to help those in need. Over 1,000 gifts and/or monetary donations were collected for local area charities, including Catholic Worker House, Morningstar (pregnancy center) and several Catholic Charities organizations: Lourdes House (mothers & infants), Evergreen House (shelter for recovering addicts), Shalom House (abused women and children shelter), Interfaith Shelter (homeless families) and the Foster Child Program. May God bless you abundantly for your generosity.
Thanks from the St. Vincent DePaul Society members: Odette Bergloff, Ann Everest, Liz Frauenhoffer, Julie Fogarty, Julie Groh. Mary Ann & Steve King, Ann McInerney, Carissa Po, Kathleen Shovlin, Patti Slabonek, Patrick Taylor, Irene Youngman and Nancy Montgomery.
