God's Way - The Road To Kindness: 9-9-2018

Summer has flown by and we hope that you enjoyed the Labor Day holiday!
 
School has started and we wanted to kick off the school year with some suggestions on Kindness Acts. Please share these Kindness Acts with your children.  It is really wonderful to see our children light up when they do an act of Kindness for another classmate.  Try to have a daily “Kindness Conversation” with your children – it is a great way to bond with our children and as a family. It is up to us to promote God’s Way – “The Road to Kindness!”

10 Kindness Acts for our Children to Consider while at School:

1. Hold the door open for another student or teacher
2. Greet a new student in your class with a hi and smile
3. Share your lunch time with a new student or with a student that is new to one of your classes
4. Help one of your teachers to clean up the classroom
5. Write a positive note to a classmate
6. Be extra kind to your bus driver – say hello when you get on the bus and say thank you when you get off
7.  Volunteer to be a tutor to someone that may be having a difficult time with a subject
8.  Pray for someone
9. Say hello and smile at every classmate you see during the day – Smiling is easy and happiness is contagious
   
10. Take a Kindness Card from church / do a Kindness Act for someone and pass on the card so they can do a Kindness Act
