Frances Schuster, 82, of Hummelstown, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014.
She was born January 17, 1932 in Smithton, PA, daughter of the late Charles and Pauline Hrach. She retired from TRW in Harrisburg, however, family was a priority for Frances, she spent many years raising her children and later assisting her husband when his health declined. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Hershey. Frances is survived by; three sons, Mark Schuster of Palmyra, Douglas Schuster of Hummelstown, and Matthew Schuster of Lewistown; grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua, Joseph, & Faith; and five great grandchildren; brothers, Charles, William & Thomas Hrach, and sister, Mary Powley, all of Smithton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Schuster and sister, Pauline Hrach. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., Route 422 & Lucy Ave. in Hershey. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Resurrection Cemetery in Harrisburg. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's Association , 3544 N Progress Ave, Harrisburg, PA 17110.

Dolores F. Brown, 81, of Hummelstown passed away Monday, April 14, 2014 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born March 11, 1933 in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late Clarence L. and Elizabeth K. (Sides) Frock. She was a former secretary in the Pottstown area and retired as an administrative assistant from the M.S. Hershey Medical Center Pediatric Nephrology Department. A member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi, she volunteered for the American Cancer Society and Children's Miracle Network. Surviving are her sons Kevin G. Brown, husband of Karen, Kerry F. Brown, husband of Lora, and Eric F. Brown, husband of Pamela Reece; sister Joan E. Frock; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday, April 24, 2014 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Avenue, Hershey. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Lebanon. Viewing 9:30 - 10:30 AM Thursday at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , PO Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033. Margaret A. (Somers) Rubright, 90, of Hershey, died Monday, March 31, 2014 at Mount Joy Hospice Center.
Born in Buffalo, NY, she was the wife of the late Frederick Rubright, who died in 1985. She was the daughter of the late Anna L. (Merkel) Somers. Margaret spent her life helping others as a registered nurse and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved a good card game and especially enjoyed watching the Phillies and Eagles. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Hershey. Margaret is survived by 6 children and their spouses: John F. Rubright (Susan) of Mount Joy, Gary W. Rubright (Kathy) of Lancaster, Joan Tabbutt (Dave) of Hershey, David L. Rubright (Deb) of Marietta, Alan L. Rubright (Marty) of Lancaster, and Ann L. Rogers (Earl) of Elizabethtown; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz with Rev. Michael W. Rothan officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. |
