Robert J. Albanese, 59, of Hershey passed away recently. Bob was the son of the late John Albanese and Annarose Gustin Albanese. Bob graduated from Hershey High School and attended Harrisburg Community College and the University of Nevada in Las Vegas (UNLV). He was a Microsoft certified technician. He was a lifetime resident of Hershey and a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hershey. Bob especially liked visiting national parks. Closer to home Bob enjoyed bike rides and basketball. He excelled in sports trivia. Bob is remembered for his amazing recall and witty one-liners. Bob is survived by his sister Therese Bretz (James) of Harrisburg and brothers John (Robin) of Lafayette Hill, PA and Salida, Colorado and David (Melissa) of Pasadena, MD. He is also survived by four nephews, three nieces and two great-nieces. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday July 21, 2023 at 11:00 am in St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hershey. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Harrisburg. Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Avenue, Hershey, PA 17033

We are sad to announce that our beloved mother, Mary A. Lebo, wife of Harold L. Lebo, passed away in Hershey, PA. On June 20, 2023. Mary was surrounded by her loved ones at home after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer's. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, to Robert and Agnes (Hanley) Best on December 8, 1943. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her former husband and father of her children Richard C. Pena and their eldest son, Richard S. Pena.
Mary grew up in New York and lived in New Jersey before moving to Hershey. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, reading and traveling. She was kind, compassionate, brave, caring, witty and fun. She had an immeasurable impact on so many lives and dedicated herself with boundless energy to her 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren who affectionately called her Grandma Bunky. Mary was an exceptional wife, mother and grandmother who always turned holidays and family get togethers into beautiful memories. Until we meet again, those special memories will always bring a smile to our faces. You will be missed by all who knew you and loved you. May god bless you and give you a new home in heaven. Mary is survived by her children; Steven (Brooke) Pena of Atlanta, GA, Susan Williams of Hershey, PA, Christine (Steven) Middleton of Memphis, TN and Matthew Pena of Harrisburg, PA. |
