Tressa Ercole, 87, of Hershey, PA, and most recently of West Chester, PA, died on November 14, 2022. Tressa was born in Windber, PA on February 4, 1935. She is the widow of Tony Ercole, the love of her life, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage, before he passed in December 2020. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Teressa (Hughes) Baughman, sister Barbara Holovka, and brother Charles Baughman. Tressa loved nothing more than her family. Tressa is survived by her five children, "four sons and a daughter" as she liked to say, nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren: Charles (Courtney) of Philadelphia and children AJ, Caroline, Nick; Michael (Karen) of Fairfax Station,Va, and their daughter Kelly McMillan and husband Robbie of Nokesville, Va; Gregg (Shannon) of West Chester and children Luke, Jackson, Sloane; Eric, and partner Brian Williams of Florida; daughter Lynne (Rich Edwards) of Hershey and children Scott and Tim, and three great grandchildren Deegan, Declan, and Dylan McMillan. Tressa was a 1953 graduate of Windber Area High School, and a 1957 graduate of Juniata College with a dual major in English and History. She became an English teacher, and taught for more than 20 years at the Palmyra Area Middle School. Tressa was proud to be part of the first Middle School Outdoor Education program. Tressa was always cheering on her children in their many events, and later in life, she cheered just as enthusiastically for her grandchildren. She had an uncanny ability to chat through an entire game, and still know the correct score and status of the game. Tressa was a people-person, who loved talking with others and making friends wherever she went. The Ercole Family would like to thank the staff of Barclay Friends Senior Living, and Willow Tree Hospice for their care and kindness while Tressa suffered through dementia for the past few years. Tressa was a devout member of St Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Hershey, for more than 50 years. Funeral Mass will be held on November 26, 2022, at 11:00am in her church at 359 W. Areba Avenue, Hershey PA 17033. Visitation will begin at 10:00am at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart of the Parish Fund at St. Joan of Arc, Hershey, PA
