Fannie R. DiDomenico, 88, of Hershey, passed away on, Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the home of her daughter in Mechanicsburg.
She was born October 16, 1925 in Palmyra, a daughter of the late Herman and Mable (Kaylee) Kramer. Fannie retired from Hershey Foods after 30 years of service. She was a member of the St. Joan of Arc Church in Hershey and the Areba Club. Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Nick DiDomenico; daughter, Phyllis DiDomenico Karagiannis; grandson, Angelo and wife Tamie Karagiannis; granddaughter, Tina Karagiannis; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Jimmy, & Jacob Karagiannis; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 8 siblings. Fannie lived a good life; always ready to help her family in any way she could. She was dearly loved and will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at 11 am in her church at 359 W. Areba Avenue in Hershey. Interment will be in the Hershey Cemetery. There will be no public viewing. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to Crossings Hospice of the VNA, 3315 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111. Leonard F. DeMario, 62, of Grantville passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013 in the M. S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born November 8, 1950 in Canton, Ohio, he was a son of the late Charles A. and Betty Jane (Shope) DeMario. Retired from Dauphin County Children and Youth Services, he was a member of St. John of Arc Catholic Church, Hershey and East Hanover Township Autumn Leaves. Surviving are his wife Linda S. (Wolf) DeMario; brother Dr. Charles L. DeMario of Hubbard, Ohio; children Anthony C. DeMario and companion Lynda Hudak of Torrington, Connecticut and Angelina M., wife of Micheal Gonzales of Hershey; and grandsons Riley and Gabriel Gonzales. A Funeral Mass will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Avenue, Hershey. A viewing will be held 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, October 21, 2013 at Buse Funeral Home, 9066 Jonestown Road, Grantville. Barbara was born in Shamokin on December 4, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Pajka Klynoski. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Hershey. She enjoyed playing bingo, knitting, and traveling. She was a good cook. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman C. Sobotor who passed away on October 5, 2012; daughter, Mary Ann Sobotor. Barbara is survived by her daughters, Sharon A. Stalnecker of Hummelstown and Patricia A. Bottiglia of Middletown; two grandsons, Nicholas Stalnecker of Rochester, NY, and Andrew Stalnecker of Etters ; two granddaughters Lisa and Kaitlyn Bottiglia of Middletown. Visitation and Services will be at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be at a later date in Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be sent to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Pronio, 97, a lifelong resident of Hershey, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013 in the Lebanon Valley Home in Annville.
She was born February 19, 1916 in Hummelstown, daughter of the late Alfredo and Hilda (Thomas) Pronio. Regina graduated from Hershey High School - class of 1934, and went right to work for Hershey Chocolate and continued working until her retirement in 1978. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Hershey, and served as church organist for 58 years. Other memberships include the Areba Club; Derry Twp. Historical Society; Hershey AARP; and a Hershey Medical Center Volunteer. Regina is survived by; nieces and nephews, Dr. Tom Modesto, Loretta Doty, Claire Padial, Regina Bowman, Jill Susi and Harry Susi; brother, Claudio Pronio; step-mother, Lidia Pronio. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Alma and Norma. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013, from 9:30 - 10:30 AM, in the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., in Hershey, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey. She was born September 25, 1929 in Marinette, WI, daughter of the late Samuel and Ameilia (Holub) Klaver. Mrs. Everson was a graduate of Marinette High School and retired from the position of office manager from Highspire Homes after 41 years. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church. Joyce is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles Everson; a son, Michael Shane Everson of Duncannon, PA; and several nieces & nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, at 12:00 noon in the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey. Interment will be in Menominee, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, George John Craig, who died in 1990.
She was an active member of the Country Meadows of Hershey and Masonic Village Communities, loved roller skating, dance, nature, museums and Irish Pubs. Above all she was deeply dedicated to her family, church and community. Surviving are her four children and families: Christina Estelle Avella, and husband, Nicola, and their children, Alicia and Nicola; Margaret Craig Deegan and husband, Patrick, and their children, Patrick and Jacob; George Craig and his wife, Candace, and their children, Jessica and George; Timothy Craig and his wife, Jill, and their children, Ethan, Michael, and Caitlin. There are also six great grandchildren surviving her. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 4:00PM, on Thursday, October 3rd in the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Avenue, Hershey PA, 17033. Private interment will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY. There will be no viewing. Friends will be received beginning at 6:00pm on Thursday evening at the home of Timothy and Jill Craig. Hershey Medical Center.
Born September 27, 1929, in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of the late Henry and Melvina (Parr) Trageser. Mr. Trageser was a devoted member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, Palmyra, and participated in Catholic social justice through which he was instrumental in starting the JustFAITH movement in central PA. Gerard was an Executive Director for the American Cancer Society in various states for over 25 years. He enjoyed leathermaking, woodworking, computer technology, politics, and gatherings with friends and neighbors alike. Surviving are his loving wife of 43 years, Vivian R. (Ortega) Trageser; a son, Philip Trageser; a daughter, Catherine O'Neill and her husband, Rob; 3 grandchildren, Marcus Black, Quinn O'Neill, and Liam O'Neill; 3 brothers, Jack Trageser and his wife, Flo, Jim Trageser and his wife, Judy, and Jerome Trageser and his wife, Claire; 2 sisters, Barbara Brown and her husband, Hersh, and Melvina Gayo; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, October 1, 2013, 11:00 a.m., at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, 245 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078. Hershey Medical Center. He was born Tuesday, August 2, 1966 in Washington, PA to David Clapp and Patricia (Bainer) Hoek. He is survived by his loving wife Martha Ann (Molchen) Clapp.
He graduated from Washington High School in 1984 and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Air Force. After the military he continued to serve and protect as a Corporal in the Pennsylvania State Police. He was a member of FOP Keystone Lodge 41, PSP Hockey Team, Road Dogs MC, and a faithful member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, and friend who will be dearly missed. He is survived by 2 sons, David Clapp and wife Lauren and Daniel Clapp; and a brother, Scott Clapp. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 3rd at 11:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 W. Areba Ave., Hershey, PA 17033 with Rev. Pius Tukura Michael and Rev. Darius GC Moss as Celebrants. Burial with full military honors will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Family and friends are invited for viewing on Wednesday, October 2nd from 5 to 9 PM and on Thursday from 8 to 10 AM at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W.
