Jeannette McKenna (1938 - 2014)

Jeannette McKenna, 76, of Hummelstown, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2014 in the M.S.Hershey Medical Center. She was born September 17, 1938 in Pawtucket, RI.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann Marie McKenna, with whom she lived; two sons, Joseph N. McKenna of Hackettstown, NJ and Thomas A. McKenna and her grandchildren, Katherine & Matthew McKenna all of Phillipsburg, NJ. Also surviving is her twin sister, Jeanne Ilyas of Woonsocket, NJ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Stephen McKenna.

During her younger years, Jeannette had been employed in various manufacturing jobs, however, most of her life she was a homemaker. After relocating to Hummelstown, she became very active in the Widows Support Group at Grace United Methodist Church.

The family will honor her life with a private memorial service.
