Agnes Hornegger McCarty, of Hummelstown, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 in Hall in Tirol,
Austria. Agnes's funeral mass was on Monday, August 6, 2018 in her home town of Sellrain, Austria. Agnes was a loving and devoted spouse, mother, and friend. Surviving is her husband, Paul; her children, Carolyn and Gabriela; and her step-daughter, Elizabeth. She is also survived by her siblings, Georg, Magdalena, Maria, and Traudi. The memorial service will be at St. Joan of Arc Church in Hershey at 2pm on Saturday, September 15, 2018. Instead of flowers she requested that people donate to the charity of their choice. Vincent Gino Pasquini, 57, lifelong resident of Hershey, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018 at the Hershey Medical Center with his family by his side.
Born on October 3, 1960 in Hershey, He was the son of the late Algino and Gina (Ceresini) Pasquini. He was a 1978 graduate of Hershey High School and graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Since 1993, He has been employed at Reading Bakery Systems in Robesonia. His positions included Equipment Designer with several US patents, Engineering Manager, Project Manager and most recently Pretzel and Snack Technical Sales Engineer. Vince was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church, Hershey, served as coach and board member of the former Hershey Baseball Association and current Hershey Little League. He also volunteered as a soccer coach. Surviving is his wife, Carole (Schreder) Pasquini; sons, Vincent Gabriel and Nicholas Gino; daughter, Frances; sister, Vicki Caloiero and husband, Joseph as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 21st at 11:00am in his church at 359 W. Areba Avenue , Hershey. Visitation will be from 10 -11am at the church prior to the Mass. Interment will be private. Please omit flowers and consider making a memorial contribution to St. Joan of Arc School, 329 W. Areba Ave., Hershey 17033 or the Leukemia Research Foundation at www.allbloodcancers.org. He was born April 20, 1937 in Corning, CA, son of the late John and Ruby (Coryell) Robbins. John's education included: Corning Union High School; Associates of Arts Degree -Shasta Jr. College, California; International Correspondence School of Scranton for Analytical Chemistry; University of California, Davis; LaSalle Extension University - Bachelor of American Law and Procedure. Mr. Robbins was a U.S. Air Force veteran from 1959 to 1965 serving during the Vietnam War and the Cuban Missile Crisis. He retired from Hershey Foods, after working in several of their factories including the original Chocolate plant, the Reese's plant and also the Tech Center. Mr. Robbins' memberships include: St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, (Hershey); Hershey Lions Club; and the Hershey Italian Lodge. He also enjoyed snowmobiling with friends when his health allowed. John is survived by; wife, Jose (Silvestri) Robbins of Hershey; a sister, Gloria and several cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Joan (Silvestri) Robbins. The family will receive guests from 9:30 - 10:30AM in the Hoover Funeral Home of Hershey on Monday, August 27, 2018; followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 W. Areba Ave., Hershey. Interment with military honors will be in the Hershey Cemetery.
