Richard J. Conway, 89, of Hershey passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014.
He was born March 19, 1924 in Manhattan, NY, a son of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Clark) Conway. Richard was a retired special agent for the U. S. Customs Service, Department of the Treasury; a WWII Navy and Marines veteran; a member of the Knights of Columbus and the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Hershey. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Marie T. (O'Keefe) Conway; 5 sons, Richard M. Conway of Peekskill, NY, Michael C. (Anne) Conway of Hyattsville, MD, Major Patrick T. (Gloria) Conway of Jacksonville, FL, Daniel J. (Kristine) Conway of Fairfax, VA, John E. (Rose Marie) Conway of Hastings on Hudson, NY; 2 daughters, Mary Martin of Summerville, NC and Brigid Conway of Union Beach, NJ, 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a brother, Edward Conway of St. Augustine, FL. A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2014, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Route 422 & Lucy Avenue, Hershey where the Rosary will be recited at 5:45 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, at 10:30 am in the St. Joan of Arc Church, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey. Interment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to the Hershey Medical Center Dept. of Kidney Dialysis, University Drive, Hershey, PA 17033.

Raymonde D. Heacock, 84, of Harrisburg, passed away at home on January 10, 2014.
She was born August 30, 1929 in Dunkerque, France, daughter of the late Mederic and Lucienne Piers. Raymonde is survived by her husband, Frederick E. Heacock; her son Leroy M. and daughter in law Veronica Gaffner of Burke, VA and grandchildren, Ryan & Soleil Gaffner. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on, Friday, January 31, 2014 at 11 AM in the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to the Children's Miracle Network, c/o Hershey Med. Center, P.O. Box 855 Hershey, PA 17033. DeAngelis of Hershey passed away at Columbia Cottage, Palmyra, on Monday, January 13, 2014.
She was born August 14, 1927 in Hershey, PA, daughter of the late Guillo & Mitilde Marcucci. Alba was a graduate of Hershey High School class of 1945. She graduated from Chestnut Hill School of Nursing in 1948. She was employed at the Hershey Hospital and also the Polyclinic Hospital in Harrisburg, Pa. Alba finished the remainder of her nursing career as senior nurse for Dr. Marion Insley, Jr., of Harrisburg. Alba was an active member the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Hershey, and the church's CCW and Areba Club. She was also an active member of the Hershey Community Chorus; the Hershey Garden Club; the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post #10141; the Hershey Italian Lodge, and the Hershey Country Club; and the Nine Hole Club. Alba and her husband Samuel enjoyed many extended vacations together, including many ocean cruises throughout the world. She was an avid golfer and played golf weekly at the Hershey Country Club golf courses. In her spare time Alba enjoyed reading mystery novels. Alba loved happy times with friends and family and good fellowship with everyone she ever knew. Surviving are her husband, Samuel J. DeAngelis, of Traditions of Hershey; brother, Peter Marcucci of Hershey; three nieces, Susanne Wallace and Carol Ann Rogers, both of Florida, and Judy Pirchett of Harrisburg. Alba is also survived by five nephews, John Marcucci of Hershey, Brad Wallace and John Baranski, both of Florida, Brian Wallace of Louisiana, and Tony Baranski of Mississippi. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Olga Sechrist. A visitation will be held Friday, January 17, 2014, from 9:30 - 10:30 am, in the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., of Hershey, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in her church at 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey. Interment will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery in Harrisburg. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions may be made to St. Joan of Arc School, 359 W. She was retired from the U.S. Government Printing Office; and was a member of the Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Surviving are her sons, Kenneth F. of Norfolk, VA.; and Timothy P. of Jefferson, Md.; a daughter, Sister Mary Thomas, IHM of Harrisburg; 3 sisters: Elizabeth Drewencki, Muncy, PA.; Alfreda Siemianowski, Hershey and Theresa Beck, Newtown, PA.; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 18 at 10 am in her church at 359 W. Areba Avenue in Hershey. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Hoover Funeral Home, Hershey is handling arrangements. Ferraro, 85, of West Hanover Township, and formerly of South Plainfield, NJ, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014, in the M. S. Hershey Medical Center with family at his side. Born in Bayonne, NJ, on May 13, 1928, he was the son of the late Francis and Philomina Mazzouccolo Ferraro. John was a retired Italian bread baker. John was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hershey. He was a former member of the Teamsters Local 560, and the Knights of Columbus. John was an U.S. Army Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed gardening, raising pigeons, and cooking. John's passion was his family as he was a loving, giving father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Margaret R. Lynch Ferraro, on October 22, 2010. John is survived by five daughters, Mary Evangelista wife of Robert, Lisa Mazzetta wife of Edward, Angela Onorato wife of David, Rita Lepping wife of Ken, and Gina DiCindio wife of Vince; three sons, John Ferraro husband of Cindy, Thomas Ferraro husband of Cathy, and Raymond Ferraro husband of Lorraine; seventeen grandchildren, Edward, Dana, Jaclynn, David, Nicole, Steven, Brianne, Alyssa, Julianna, Andrew, Matthew, Nicholas, Laura, Kenneth, Vincent, Maria, and Christina; two sisters, Marie Ferraro and Francis Niven; and one nephew, Richard Niven. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at 11:30 AM in St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Avenue, Hershey. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Township, with The Rev. Brian J. Wayne as celebrant. Friends will be received for the viewings Monday, January 6, 2014, from 6 to 8 PM, and Tuesday from 10:00 to 10:45 AM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown. Trageser, 75, of Hummelstown, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013, in McMurray at the home of her daughter. She was the widow of Gerard G. Trageser to whom she had been married for 43 years until his passing in September 2013.
Born December 2, 1938, in Bingham Canyon (Highland Boy) in Utah, she was a daughter of the late Juanita and Philip Ortega. Mrs. Trageser was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church and was active in social justice work within her parish. She enjoyed listening to music, teaching, and traveling and was gifted with her ability to sew and knit. Vivian especially loved being a grandmother and spending time with her friends and family. Surviving are her son, Philip Trageser; her daughter, Catherine O'Neill and her husband, Rob; 3 grandchildren, Marcus Black, Liam and Quinn O'Neill; her brother, Jimmy Valdez; 4 sisters, Mary Valdez, Christine Allen, Frances Ortega, Michaela Trujillo; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Lawrence, Nicholas and Louis Valdez, and Patrick Ortega and sisters, Katherine Chavez, Angela Ortega and Anita Vigil. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, January 6, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, 245 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078. Viewing will be from 10-11:00 a.m. at the Church. Inurnment at Resurrection Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family. Tia, Mamacita and Abuela, she looked past people's flaws and found the good in everyone. Funny, wise, caring, stubborn, loving and gave great advice. She will be missed!
