Jean C. Baiocchi, 92, of Hershey, passed away on February 15, 2018 in the M.S.Hershey Medical Center. She was born June 1, 1925 in Hershey, a daughter of the late Gaetano "Guy" and Ida (Sovani) Baiocchi.
She was a 1943 graduate of Hershey High School and retired from the Hershey Company after 43 years of service as a secretary. Jean was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church where she sang in the resurrection choir and was a member of the Council of Catholic Women. She was an avid Hershey Bears fan and season ticket holder and enjoyed reading. Surviving is her brother, Richard (Norma) Baiocchi of Hershey and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Thomas Baiocchi and Amelia Sostaric. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 21st at 11:00am in her church with interment following in the Hershey Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30AM 11:00AM on Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Joan of Arc Church, 359 West Areba Ave. Hershey, PA 17033.

Erma C. (D'Eramo) Bender - Wall, 89, of Columbia Cottages, Palmyra, formerly of Hershey, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018.
She was born September 24, 1928 in Hershey, daughter of the late Mauro and Adelina (Coco) D'Eramo. She was a graduate of Hershey High and was devoted mother and wife. She returned to further her education at age 50 to become a Registered Nurse. Erma had worked at Dauphin Manor Nursing Home until retirement. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting and cooking. Mrs. Bender is survived by; daughters, Susan (Jeffrey) Spayd of Lancaster, Catherine Hannan of Middletown, and Patricia Bender of Houston, TX; son, Kenneth Bender of Wellington, FL; sisters, Gilda Villa and Rose Resanovich; 12 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Kenneth W. Bender and Leonard Wall; daughter, Celia Lindsay; and sister, Florence Tomaino. A visitation will be held Thursday, February 15, 2018, from 9:30 - 10:30 AM, in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, 88 Lucy Ave. Hershey; followed by Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11AM in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey. (Boyle) Boyd, 94, of Hershey, passed away on February 2, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 6, 1923 in Scranton, daughter of the late Walter and Marie (Bour) Boyle. Marie was the widow of Jerome Francis Boyd, with whom she celebrated 65 years of marriage. Marie was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Hershey Italian Lodge, and the PSP Auxiliary group. Her first job was with the Aircraft Industry during WWII, which she left to travel across the country to marry her sweetheart and raise a family. She retired from the Hershey Medical Center and spent several years traveling the country. Marie volunteered at St Joan of Arc Parish and School in any capacity that was needed. She was a leader in several scouting troops, was an avid “walker”, talented seamstress, and loved to dance. Her favorite hobby was celebrating everything and anything (even Tuesdays at Troegs) and being with her children and grandchildren. She adored her “gang”! Marie is survived by her 10 children: Mauree Gingrich (Cal), Patricia Golembewski (Charles), Barb Keller (Gerry), Jerome M (Heidi), Eileen Sharkey (Mike (deceased)), Kathy Willis (David), Joe (Lori), Peggy Schroeder (Paul), Anne Hayward (Bob) and Tim (Kathy). She will be dearly missed by her 28 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by granddaughter, Jill Golembewski; brother, Walter Boyle and sister, Nancy Boyle Thompson and son in law, Michael Sharkey. A visitation will be held Thursday, February 8, 2018, from 5:30 – 7:30 PM in the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 88 Lucy Ave. Hershey. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11AM in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey. Interment will follow in the Hershey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made in Marie's name to either: Heart of the Parish Fund, c/o St. Joan of Arc Church 359 W.
