Nilda Bonfanti (1924 - 2017)

Nilda P. Bonfanti, of Lebanon, formerly of Hershey, passed away on May 5, 2017 in the Good Samaritan Hospital.

She was born January 28, 1924 in Hershey, daughter of the late Nicola and Luigina (Carlucceti) Paponetti.

Nilda graduated from Hershey High School class of 1941. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and their Council of Catholic Women. She was also a former volunteer at the Hope Lodge in Hershey since its opening in 1988 until 2000 and an elected official for 20 years at Election Polls in Hershey as well.

Nilda is survived by 3 sons, Richard P. (Jeanne Galassi) Bonfanti, Jr. of Lebanon, Nicholas P. (Susan Bucciarelli) Bonfanti, Sr. of Harrisburg, and Joseph F. (Lisa Davis) Bonfanti of Palmyra; grandson, Nicholas P. (Rachel Parrish) Bonfanti, Jr.; granddaughters, Adele (Cameron) Cole, Cara (Dan) Shaffer, and Elizabeth Bonfanti; sister, Norma Baiocchi (Richard) of Hershey; sister-in-law, Louise Hostetter of Cornwall; three great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard P. Bonfanti, Sr. in 2006 and 5 sisters & 1 brother.

A viewing will be held in the Hoover Funeral Home of Hershey on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 9:30 - 10:30 AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11AM in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey. Interment will be in the Hershey Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Nilda requested memorial contributions be made to either St. Joan of Arc Memorial Fund or the Heart of the Parish Fund, c/o St. Joan of Arc Church 359 W. Areba Ave. Hershey, PA 17033.

Douglas "Dougie" Shenfeld (1962 - 2017)

Douglas "Dougie" K. Shenfeld, 54, of  Bainbridge and formerly of Hershey, entered into eternal peace on April 25, 2017 at his home. He was born August 8, 1962 in Hershey, son of William Shenfeld  and the late Gloria (Lalli) Shenfeld .

Doug was a graduate of Dauphin County Vo‑Tech and was a US Army Veteran. He was a self employed mason who owned and operated Pyramid Concrete and Coatings. Doug's passion was Beech Island life with his family,dogs,Smoke & Sylas, and his extended river family. He also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, hunting & fishing.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Lisa M. (Julian) Shenfeld of Bainbridge; sons, Joshua Douglas Shenfeld and his wife Elizabeth of Linglestown and Dylan Michael Shenfeld of Bainbridge; Brothers, Dwain & Dana; sisters, Diane & Donna. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria (Lalli) Shenfeld and sister, Karen May.

Visitation will be Monday, May 1st from 10:00am until 11:00am immediately followed by a funeral service in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory,Inc. in Hershey. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 6520 N. Andrews Ave.,Fort Lauderdale FL 33309‑2132.

Matthew Kyle Pritchett (1985 - 2017)

Matthew Kyle Pritchett, 32, of Hershey, passed away on April 28, 2017 due to an auto accident. He was born April 17, 1985 in Harrisburg, son of Kyle and Judy (Marcucci) Pritchett. Matt was a graduate of Hershey High School and had been employed as a General Contractor and Plumber. He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, the Palmyra Sportsman Club, and the Hershey American Legion.

Matt is survived by his parents;  his sister, Krystin Sweeney & brother-in-law Emneko Sweeney; nephews Taylor, Marcus & Cameron Sweeney of Hershey; his girlfriend, Shadan Shahswar, and her daughter, Bella of York; maternal grandfather, Pete Marcucci , Uncle John Marcucci and wife, Gina all of Hershey; and cousins, Gordon, Lewis and Carmen Marcucci along with many other relatives and friends.
Matt was a car enthusiast, loved BMW’s, a gun collector & excellent cook. Matt was devoted to his family and faith, and had a heart of gold. He gave of himself and was a true friend to many.
Matt was adored by his family and will be missed beyond words.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 4th in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory in Hershey from 9:30am ‑ 11:00am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am in his church at 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Palmyra Sportsman Club, P.O. Box 142, Palmyra, PA 17078, or Hershey Volunteer Fire Company, 21 W. Caracas Ave., Hershey, PA 17033.

Susan Riemondy (1956 - 2017)

Susan Riemondy (nee Cicchitti), age 60, passed away on April 25, 2017 in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Susan is survived by her husband of 38 years, Michael Riemondy, her father, Nicholas Cicchitti, her siblings, Lisa Stroud (Samuel), Jim Cicchitti (Tracey), and David Cicchitti (Peggy), and her three children, Lisa, Michael, and Alex.

Susan was born on September 24, 1956 to parents Rosemary and Nicholas. She graduated from Archbishop John Carroll in Radnor, PA and attended Duquesne University and Villanova University, graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Villanova.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 2nd, from 10:00AM – 12:30PM in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. in Hershey. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow the visitation at 1:00PM in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Avenue, Hershey.
