Jeffrey L. Hahn, 44, of Hershey passed away peacefully on February 22, 2014 at the Hershey Medical Center. He was born on November 5, 1969 in Harrisburg PA, son of Richard L. Hahn and the late Linda J. Arentz Bingaman.
He was a graduate of Hershey High School, Lehigh University and earned a Masters degree at the Pennsylvania State University. Jeff was a competitive and talented athlete throughout the years in football, baseball and basketball and went on to play football at Lehigh University. He spent the majority of his career as an employee of The Hershey Company working in engineering and business operations. Jeff was a devoted family man who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his wife and children. As an avid sports fan, he loved to coach. Jeff was a community leader who selflessly served as a coach for Hershey Flag Football, Hershey Youth Basketball and Hershey Little League. He also served as a member of HLL Board of Directors from 2010 to 2013. Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Susan, daughter of John and Joanne Atella, as well as his beloved children Andrew, Allison and Alexis; father, Richard L Hahn; brother, Richard L Hahn Jr. and wife Tammy and nephew David as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 26th, at 11:00am in the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hershey. Viewing will be held Tuesday evening, February 25th from 5:00pm - 7:30pm in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Route 422 & Lucy Avenue, Hershey. Interment will be in the Hershey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hershey Little League P.O. Box 702 Hershey, PA 17033 or The St Joan of Arc Memorial Fund 359 W. Areba Ave Hershey PA, 17033.

Orfeo "Ike" Corsetti died on February 22, 2014. He was 93. He was born and raised in Hershey, the son of the late Orlando and Gemma (Pellegrini) Corsetti. He was predeceased by his dear wives, Catherine (Nardi) Corsetti and Mary (Shirk) Corsetti.
In high school he was an active golfer and hockey player along with his brother, Endo. Ike served in the 1st Infantry Division in World War II from 1941-45 during which time he participated in three Landings: North Africa, Sicily and Normandy, as well as eight campaigns including Northern France, Rhineland and the Ardennes. He was instrumental in raising funds for the World War II Monument dedicated in 2004 on the National Mall in Washington, DC. He made three trips to the Normandy Beach Commemorative celebrations, the last one in 2004. For years he had a dry cleaning/tailoring shop in Hershey. He was a member of St Joan of Arc Church and the VFW. Mr. Corsetti is survived by his daughter Susan (Frederick) London of Naples, FL and grandchildren Kathleen (Benjamin) Haldeman of San Francisco, William (Ada) London of Los Angeles and Thomas London of New York. The family would like to express its appreciation to Traditions of Hershey and to Legacy Hospice for their love and support. Friends and family will be received on Saturday, March 1, from 9:30 - 10:30 am in the Hoover Funeral Home in Hershey, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Joan of Arc Church in Hershey. Interment will follow in the Hershey Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Concettina "Norma" Galipo, 86 formerly of Hershey passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Manor Care Elizabethtown surrounded by her Manor Care Family.
Born in Hershey, PA on July 16, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Salvatore Galipo and Rosalee Foti English Galipo. Norma worked for the Hershey Chocolate Company for 40 plus years in the Wrapping Department and retired through the Golden 90 Club. She attended Hershey High School. She was once an avid bowler and just loved life and having a good time. She was a member of the Hershey Italian Lodge and looked forward to the trips Pete arranged to sporting events and especially to Las Vegas. She loved watching the Soaps and Hallmark Channel. She was president of the resident's council at Manor Care proudly wearing the sombrero. She loved weekly bingo and attending other activities at Manor Care made possible by Justin and Connie. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and received weekly communion from St. Peter's Catholic Church in Elizabethtown. She was preceded in death by her life-long friend, Bernie Petrina on August 20, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her brothers John, Frank and Nathan and her dear sister-in-law, Augustina (Tina) English. She is survived by her brother Joseph English and his children, Joseph English of Hershey and Maria English of Hershey along with several other nieces and nephews of the English Families. Her adopted nieces, Susan I. Petrina and Mary P. Smith wife of James M. Smith of Hummelstown, Kathleen R. Rock wife of Robert Rock, Palmyra and Laurie A. Fleming wife of Michael Fleming of Clark's Summit; adopted great nieces and nephews, Sarah P. Stromberg, Jennie and Ryan Smith and Connor and Aaron Fleming. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 10 AM in the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 W. Areba Ave., Hershey. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Manor Care Elizabethtown, Attn. Activities Department, 32 East Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. A special thank you to the staff and Norma's Manor Care Family in Elizabethtown which was her home for the past 7 years. - |
