Charles W. Staudenmeier, Jr., 94, of Hershey, formerly of Ashland, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2019 at Bethany Village in Mechanicsburg. He was born August 26, 1925 in Ashland, son of the late Charles and Sara (Daley) Staudenmeier. Charles was a graduate of Penn State University and Dickinson School of Law and had worked for Nationwide Insurance. Mr. Staudenmeier was a WWII Army veteran and both a Bronze Star and Purple Heart recipient. He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and was a former Derry Township Supervisor. He enjoyed many summers at Elm Lodge in Ontario, CA with his wife Shirley. Charles is survived by; daughter, Katherine L. (Rudy) Wellnitz of Kennett Square; son, Raymond W. (Darlene) Staudenmeier of Wilkes-Barre; daughter, Ann M. (Tom) Charles of Mechanicsburg; grandchildren, Marilyn, Katelyn and Daniel Wellnitz, Taillon and Teagan Staudenmeier; Rena, Owen and Joseph Charles; sister, Margaret Whalen, and many loving nieces and nephews and extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley M. (Taillon) Staudenmeier; son, Charles J. Staudenmeier and siblings, James Staudenmeier and Sally Margraf. A visitation will be held Friday, November 29, 2019, 9:30 - 10:30 AM in the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory of Hershey. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM in the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey. Interment with military honors will be in the Hershey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 W. Areba Ave,. Hershey, PA 17033. Ronald O. Gramigni, 84, of Hershey, passed away on November 12, 2019 at home after a lengthy illness. He was born October 26, 1935 in Hershey, son of the late Thomas and Lena (Nardi) Gramigni. Ron graduated from Hershey High School and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He retired as a Lieutenant from the Derry Township Police Department where he instituted the K-9 Unit in 1980. After his retirement from the force, he worked for the Dauphin County Sheriff's Dept. and the Hershey Motor Lodge. He was also an avid deer hunter. His memberships include: St. Joan of Arc Church in Hershey; FOP; and the Hershey Italian Lodge. Ron is survived by his wife, Elide (Cataldi) Gramigni; 2 sons, Ronald T. (Donna) Gramigni, and Thomas Gramigni; daughter, Noreen (Douglas) Jones; sister, Dolores (Sal) Paglia; and niece, Monica Paglia. The family will begin receiving guests on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 10AM with funeral service beginning at 11:30 AM in the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory in Hershey. Bianchini, 92 of Hershey, passed away on November 10, 2019 in the Masonic Healthcare Center, Elizabethtown. She was born March 28, 1927 in Steelton, a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Teresa (Costanzo) Verroca. Mary was the widow of Alvaro A. Bianchini and is survived by her 4 children, Sandra Bianchini and William Bianchini both of Hershey, Thomas Bianchini a resident of the Masonic Village, Carol, wife of Matthew Hoover of Hummelstown and grandson Luke Hoover. Also surviving is her sister Frances Verroca. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 13th at 11am in the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey. Interment will follow in the Hershey Cemetery. Share condolences at www.hooverfuneralhome.com www.pennlive.com/obits Duane Anton Ryan, 65, of Hershey, PA, passed away on October 28, 2019 in the Hershey Medical Center surrounded by loving family. He was born November 2, 1953 in Waynesburg, PA, son of the late Tamer and Elizabeth (Katschinsky) Ryan. Duane was a 1971 graduate of Mapletown High School and California University of Pennsylvania. He retired from Hilti, where he was a tool repair manager for over 20 years and later worked for AHEDD as an Employment Specialist in the Harrisburg Field Office. Mr. Ryan was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Hershey where he would volunteer as a money counter and at the church's summer festival. He also volunteered for many years at the Hershey Medical Center. Mr. Ryan blessed the time he spent traveling the United States and Europe with his wife Angie, as well as a love of history, especially the Civil War and trips to Gettysburg. He enjoyed walking and hiking and was a well known dog lover, always having biscuit treats in his pockets. Duane is survived by his wife, Angela (Udovich) Ryan; a brother, Sean Ryan, and his wife, Twyla; a nephew and godson, Andrew Ryan and other nieces and nephews, Terra DeAlmeida, Summer White, Juliet Ryan, Ramona Harris-Hamilton and Damein Harris. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Ryan-Coil. A prayer service will begin at 5:30 P.M. on Thursday, October 31, 2019 followed by a visitation concluding at 8:00 P.M. in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, 88 Lucy Ave., Hershey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 1st in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 W. Areba Ave., Hershey. There will be an additional visitation at Yoskovich Funeral Home, 300 South Vine Street, Carmichaels, PA, on Saturday, November 2nd from 10:30 until 11:30A.M. followed by the interment of his cremains in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Crucible, PA. Bowman, 79, of Hershey, passed away on November 3, 2019 at home after a lengthy illness. He was born October 6, 1940 in Harrisburg, son of the late Albert and Margaret (Stine) Bowman. Pete was a 1958 graduate of John Harris High School and a U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. He retired from PP&L after 44 years. After retirement, he enjoyed volunteering with the Derry Township People Mover. He also enjoyed working part-time with the Hoover Funeral Homes. Mr. Bowman was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Hershey and the Hershey American Legion. He was also the Dauphin County Judge of Elections for many years. Pete loved baseball; he coached many different teams in the area for many years and then was a PIAA Umpire for 50 years and was inducted into the Central Penn Hall of Fame for his service to area baseball. Albert is survived by; wife, Regina (Susi) Bowman; son- Keith (Deb) Bowman; daughters, Kimberly Bowman and Karie (David) Martin; grandchildren, Kyle & Derek Bowman and Morgan Martin; step-children, Mario (Amy); Andy and Matt Shaffer; step-granddaughters, Mary Claire & Melanie Shaffer; sisters, Shirley Bowman & Nancy Goodman; brothers, Jim & Marty Bowman; and many nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Henry. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 2:30PM on Thursday, November 7, followed by a viewing from 3-5 PM, in the Hoover Funeral Home in Hershey. He was born September 19, 1952 in Kingston, Jamaica, son of the late Roy and Melvina (Bogle) Robinson. Carl worked with sales and delivery for the Stroehmann Bread Company for almost 30 years, prior to that he worked for Wonder Bread for 10 years. He spent almost 30 years as a member of the Derry Township community and he and his family are faithful members of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Hershey. Carl is survived by; wife, Karene Andrea (Palmer) Robinson; children, Vaughn, Camal (Natasha), Cameron, Caron, Caiden and Colette Robinson; grandchildren, Kaiya, Olivia and Liana Robinson; brother, Mervin Robinson; sisters, Delrose, Doreen, Karleen, Jeanette and Christine; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Desmond Bogle.
