Nanetta "Ann" P. Bucciarelli, 92, a lifelong resident of Hershey, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2014 at Columbia Cottage.
She was born March 24, 1922 in Hershey, PA, daughter of the late Carmen and Julia (Rastelli) Pavone. Ann was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church and it's Women's Club and volunteered at the St. Joan of Arc library. She enjoyed sewing, embroidering, cooking, walking and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by; sons, William C. Bucciarelli Jr. of Hummelstown and Brian J. Bucciarelli (and his wife Steph) of Hummelstown; daughter, Susan B. Bonfanti (and her husband Nicholas) Bonfanti of Harrisburg; grandson, Nicholas Bonfanti of Royersford and granddaughter, Cara Bonfanti of Middletown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Willie" C. Bucciarelli Sr.; brothers, Belviso, Louis, Herman and Domenic Pavone, sisters, Mary Colaniro, Marian Memmi, Jennie Iacavone and Rosie DiVittore. A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 9 - 10 am, in the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. of Hershey, followed by Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:30 in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to St. Joan of Arc Memorial Fund, 359 W. Areba Ave. Hershey, PA 17033. Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., of Hershey, is handling the arrangements. Louise Annette Panza Feldser, 62, of Hummelstown, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at her home after a 25 year courageous battle with cancer.
Louise was born in Harrisburg on August 9, 1951 and grew up in Steelton. She was the daughter of the late James Panza and Anna Martire Panza. Louise graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg with the Class of 1969 and Elizabethtown College. On October 13, 1979, she married Michael. She worked at Polyclinic Hospital, Central PA Blood Bank as a Medical Technician, and lastly as an Adjunct Professor at HACC. She was a gifted sewer and cook and she loved going to the beach and Disney World. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hershey. She is survived by her husband, Michael; her daughter, Jennifer; her sister, Anna Marie; and numerous family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 10:30 am in St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 W. Areba Ave., Hershey with Rev. Brian J. Wayne, Parochial Vicar, as celebrant. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second St., Steelton. Recitation of the rosary will be at 4:45 pm. English, Sr, 96, of Hershey, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 29, 2014.
He was born August 21, 1917 in Memphis, TN, son of the late Antonino & Rose (Forte) English. Joe retired from the Hershey Chocolate Co., where he was a syrup operator. He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Ave. Hershey; the Hershey Italian Lodge; and the Chocolate Workers Local #464. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and a Purple Heart recipient. He fought in the second wave of Omaha Beach and was wounded in action just prior to the Battle of the Bulge. He enjoyed playing golf and watching sports, especially Notre Dame. Mr. English is survived by: a son - Joseph A. English Jr. and wife Sandra; daughter - Maria R. English; granddaughter - Erin and husband Tazio Palermo; two grandsons - Jordan and Jonathan English; and great-granddaughter - Gianna Palermo; all of Hershey; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Augustina D. English; brothers, John, Frank, & Nathan; and a sister Concentina Galipo. A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 9:30 - 10:30 AM, in the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., of Hershey, followed by Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 am in his church. Interment with military honors will be in the Hershey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 1531 Cedar Cliff Drive, Suite 100, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
