Amelia K. Niccolini, 88, of Hershey, Pennsylvania, formerly of Frackville, passed away on March 5, 2017 with her family by her side at Arden Court in Harrisburg.
She was born November 13, 1928 in Frackville, PA, daughter of the late John and Mary (Oldinsky) Kowker. Amelia was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church; the Areba Club; and the Hershey Italian Lodge. She enjoyed bus trips and visiting with family & friends. She retired from the Hershey Chocolate Co., where she took great pride in working on the Hershey Kiss line. Mrs. Niccolini is survived by; a brother, William B. Kowker of Gilberton; and a great number of nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Guido Niccolini; brothers, Edward, John Jr., Leonard & Walter Kowker; sisters, Adeline Markowski & Eleanor Zink; and 4 infant sisters. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 6-8PM and also on Thursday morning from 9:30 -10:30AM in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory of Hershey, Route 422 & Lucy Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 11AM in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Hershey. Interment will follow in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to her church, St. Joan of Arc Memorial Fund 359 W. Areba Ave. Hershey, PA 17033.
