Ronald O. Gramigni (1935-2019)

Ronald O. Gramigni, 84, of Hershey, passed away on November 12, 2019 at home after a lengthy illness. He was born October 26, 1935 in Hershey, son of the late Thomas and Lena (Nardi) Gramigni. Ron graduated from Hershey High School and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He retired as a Lieutenant from the Derry Township Police Department where he instituted the K-9 Unit in 1980. After his retirement from the force, he worked for the Dauphin County Sheriff's Dept. and the Hershey Motor Lodge. He was also an avid deer hunter. His memberships include: St. Joan of Arc Church in Hershey; FOP; and the Hershey Italian Lodge. Ron is survived by his wife, Elide (Cataldi) Gramigni; 2 sons, Ronald T. (Donna) Gramigni, and Thomas Gramigni; daughter, Noreen (Douglas) Jones; sister, Dolores (Sal) Paglia; and niece, Monica Paglia.

​The family will begin receiving guests on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 10AM with funeral service beginning at 11:30 AM in the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory in Hershey.
