She was born in Centralia on March 18, 1935 to the late Michael and Helen (Dooley) Lavelle. Pat graduated from Mount Carmel Catholic High School and went on to work at the state. In 1957, she married the late Joseph F. Nestico. They were married for 48 wonderful years until his death in 2005. Pat was a long-time employee of Hershey’s Chocolate World, having worked there for 20 years, where she made life-long friends and memories. She was also a long-time member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Hershey. Above all, Pat’s biggest joy was her family. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Affectionately known as “Mammam” or “Mimi” by her grandchildren, Pat will be remembered for her wit, sense of humor, and love of family. In addition to her parents and husband, Pat was preceded in death by her son, Anthony J. Nestico, and her brothers Mick and George Lavelle. She is survived by four daughters Ann Marie (David) Drobnock, Theresa (John) Polly, Kathleen (Ronald) Giovanniello and Patricia (Robert) Kain, her daughter in law Deborah (Bodenhorn) Nestico; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Edward (Vivian) and Joseph (Barbara) Lavelle and her sister in law, Marlene Lavelle and many nieces and nephews. To the staff at Columbia Cottage and Hospice for All Seasons, our family is forever grateful for the love, care and compassion shown to our Mom and Grandmother.
