Camilla Elizabeth Sacco Tancredi passed peacefully at The Lebanon Valley Home in Annville on Sunday January 31, 2021, at the age of 102. We all were fortunate to have her share in our lives. Born in Hanoverdale, Pa, north of Hershey in 1918, she was the eldest daughter of Clement and Maria Sacco and the last surviving of her 6 siblings. She was also predeceased by her devoted and loving husband, Edward Carl Tancredi in 1992 after 54 years of marriage. Camilla is survived by her children: Rev. Carl Tancredi D.Min., and Edwina (Paul) Eckenroth; grandchildren: Luke (Jen) Eckenroth, Jason (Barclay) Eckenroth, and Leah (Drew) Watson, along with 6 great-grandchildren. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will miss her enormously. As a lifelong member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, her family and faith were most important to her. She was a selfless and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Lena loved entertaining and her home was always welcoming- the coffee was always on and the biscotti were readily available. The family wishes to extend our immense gratitude to the staff of The Lebanon Valley Home, UCC, in Annville for all their love and personal and professional care given to our mother, Bella (an endearing nickname) during her time there. Interment at the Hershey Cemetery will be private, however, a memorial Mass will be celebrated by her son, Fr. Carl at St. Joan of Arc Church in Hershey on Friday, February 12, at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Heart of the Parish Fund for St.Joan of Arc Church, West Areba Avenue, Hershey, Pa 17033, www.stjoanhershey.org. Comments are closed.
