Carmela Cullari (1929 - 2016)

Carmela Cullari, 87, of Hershey, formerly of Cranford, NJ, passed away on October 12, 2016 in the M.S.Hershey Medical Center.

She was born April 8, 1929 in Caroniti, Italy, daughter of the late Gaetano and Antonia (Giacco) Cullari.

Carmela was a former member of the Mohler Sr. Center Hershey and St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.

Mrs. Cullari is survived by; son, Salvatore Cullari and his wife Kathi, of Hershey; son, Gaetano "Guy" Cullari and his wife Candy, of Pine Grove; grandchildren, Dante, Catherine, Chris, Rachel and Michelle, and great-grandchildren Teresa and Elizabeth Aujero.

She was predeceased in death by her husband Carmelo Cullari in 1994.

A viewing will be held Monday, October 17, 2016, from 6 - 8 PM, in the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 88 Lucy Ave., Hershey.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 10:30 AM in the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 W. Areba Ave., Hershey. Interment will be in the Cemetery of Caroniti in Italy.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to Carmelo Cullari Scholarship, c/o Lebanon Valley College, 101 N. College Ave., Annville, Pa., 17003.
