Charles Francis (1943 - 2017)

Charlie Francis, 73,of Hershey, passed away unexpectedly on February 21, 2017. He was born April 6, 1943 in Goldsboro, NC, son of the late Charles T. and Marie R. (Bronk) Francis.

Charlie received his Bachelors and Masters Degree in Education from Shippensburg University.
He was a former teacher, counselor and administrator at the Milton Hershey School and retired as Director of Human Resources at Abington Heights School District in Clarks Summit. Charlie was Past President and member of the Derry Townshiop School Board, Past Master and member of the former Spring Creek Lodge #820 F&AM of Hershey and former member of the Hershey Rotary Club.

He is survived by his brother, Richard T. and his wife, Christina Francis of Hershey.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 27, 2017 from 9:30am 10:30am, in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Hershey. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am in the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 1942.
