Eceo Casantini (1916 - 2014)

Eceo J. Casantini, 98, of English Center, PA, formerly of Hershey, passed away on December 13, 2014 in his home.

He was born November 6, 1916 in Hershey, son of Evangelista and Rosa Casantini.
Eceo graduated from Hershey High and was a U.S. Army WWII veteran. He was a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Wellsboro; and a former member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Hershey. He worked for both the New Cumberland Army Depot and the former Olmstead AFB in Middletown. He was a master craftsman that excelled in working with wood.

Mr. Casantini is survived by; his wife of over 60 years, Catherine (Bracale) Casantini; a brother, Joseph Casantini of Hershey; many nieces & nephews; and dear friend, Carrie Kitajima.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

A one hour visitation will begin at 11:30 am on Thursday, December 18, 2014 in the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., of Hershey. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 12:30 PM, followed by graveside services in the Hershey Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to Humane Society of Harrisburg Area, Inc., 7790 Grayson Road Harrisburg, PA 17111.
