Edward K. Bott, 68, of Campbelltown, Pennsylvania, passed Friday, December 23, 2016 at home in the loving arms of his family.
He was the husband of Candy (Papich) Bott. He is survived by sons, Brian Bott, husband of Ashley Bott, of Palmyra, and Michael Bott, husband of Tara Bott, of Georgetown, Delaware; and his grandchildren, Pia Bott and Makenzie Bott. Ed is also survived by his sister Amelia Forester of Palmyra; his brother, James Bott of South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. Born in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Ed was the son of the late James (McGuigan) Bott and Julia (Krynitsky) Bott. Ed was a member of Saint Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hershey. He was an avid fisherman and gardener. Above all, his family was most important and gave him the greatest joy in life. He served in the United States Air Force in Thailand during the Vietnam War and entered into a career as a cardiovascular technician following his service. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday, December 30, 2016 from 10:15-11:15 a.m. in Saint Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Avenue, Hershey, Pa. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Saint Joan of Arc Church following the visitation at 11:30 a.m. Entombment with Military Honors will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale, Berks County.
