Edward Kelly (1930 - 2016)

Edward J. Kelly, 86, of Hershey, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 in The Gardens at Campbelltown.

Born March 3, 1930 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Edward and Margaret (Boyle) Kelly and was also preceded in death by siblings Jean Gretsky, Thomas Kelly, and Eileen Geary.

A member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Hershey, he was a U.S. Army Captain serving in the Korean War. He owned his own business as a Combustion Consultant to major steel mills worldwide and was a former Vice President of Hauck Manufacturing, Cleona.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Mary L. (Dunnigan) Kelly; children Patricia Langley of Wilmington, Delaware, Edward, husband of Diane Kelly of East Granby, Connecticut, Kathy Black of Palmyra and Michael, husband of Kathy Kelly of Palmyra; and grandchildren Daniel Langley, Jonathan Kelly, Katie Kelly, Kevin Kelly, and Christina Kelly.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:30 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at his church, 359 West Areba Avenue, Hershey, preceded by a viewing beginning at 11:30 AM at the church. Interment, with military honors, will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
