Eithne Shank (1936 - 2018)

Eithne Ann Beausang Shank of Hummelstown, passed away at the age of 82. She was born on April 10, 1936 to the late Michael Paul Beausang and late Ena O’Brien Beausang.  

She was the firstborn of seven children. She is survived by her spouse of 53 years, John Christian Shank; her two daughters, Yvonne Marie Shank Jackson of Hummelstown and Chris Shank of Portland, Oregon; her brothers; Patrick Beausang, Ken Beausang and Paul Beausang; her sister, Yvonne Beausang Rafferty of Ireland; her grandchildren, Anna and Ailis Shank-Root of Portland, Oregon; Michelle, Sean and Collin Jackson of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania; and 20 beloved nieces and nephews from the Marren, Rafferty and Beausang families. She is predeceased by her brother, Brian Beausang; sister, Maeve Beausang Marren; and her daughter, Michelle Shank.

Eithne graduated from University College Dublin in Dublin, Ireland in 1959 as a medical doctor. She moved to Hummelstown in 2017 and attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church of Hershey.

Join her and her family for the Memorial Mass on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 11:00am in her church at 359 West Areba Avenue, Hershey.
