Eleanor "Jean" Gaspari (1930 - 2016)

Eleanor J. (Hitz) Gaspari, 86, of Hershey, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016 in the Masonic Health Care Center, Elizabethtown. Jean was a 1947 graduate of Hershey High School and a 1950 graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing, Lancaster PA.

Surviving are; her husband of 64 years, Jim; her daughters, Marjorie, wife of Woody Menear, and Susan, widow of Steve Hein; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Jean was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church.

She was a loving, patient woman who lead a happy and fulfilled life. She was an inspiration to her family and friends and will be missed deeply.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Thursday, April 28th in her church at 359 West Areba Avenue in Hershey. Private inurnment will be in the Hershey Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7PM on Wednesday, April 27th in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. in Hershey. The family will also visit with friends at a reception following the mass on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Jean's name to the Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania, c/o Office of Gift Planning, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 to be used for the Hospice Fund or to her church.
