HARRISBURG - Irene Schuck, 90, formerly of Camp Hill and Hershey, and a resident of Homeland Center Harrisburg, passed away, Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019, in Harrisburg Hospital.
She was born March 15, 1928, in Excelsior, a daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Pellish) Adzema. Irene played basketball and sang in the choir in high school as she loved music and dancing. She was an active member of Good Shepherd Church for 60 years, serving as Scout den mother, running bingo and working funeral lunches well in to her 80s, then joined St. Joan of Arc Church. Her greatest work was that of a loving wife to her late husband, Albert, and mother to her five sons, gardening, crafts and crossword puzzles. Surviving are sons, William P. Schuck and his wife, Lynn C., of Hummelstown, Gerard A. Schuck and his wife, Pamela, of Culpeper, Virginia, Phillip J. Schuck and his wife, Amy, of Wakefield, Rhode Island, Joseph Schuck and his wife, Carol, of McMurray, and James Schuck and his wife, Nicole, of Camp Hill; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Pasierb and her husband, Bernie, of Kulpmont. She was the widow of Albert J. Schuck, who passed away in 2003 after 54 years of marriage. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Delores Zaborny. ### SCHUCK - Irene Schuck, 90, formerly of Camp Hill and Hershey, and a resident of Homeland Center Harrisburg. Visitations will be held in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 88 Lucy Avenue, Hershey from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, with the Rosary at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joan of Arc Church, 359 W. Areba Ave., Hershey. Interment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Assn., 3001 Old Gettysburg Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
