Jeanette Heichel (1928- 2015)

Jeanette H. Heichel, 86, a lifelong resident of Hershey, passed away on April 20, 2015 in Spangcrest Manor in Lebanon.
She was born August 16, 1928 in Hershey, daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah (Mahoney) Heichel.

Jeanette was a graduate of Fordham University, and was a retired social worker for the Commonwealth of PA. Her memberships include St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church; National Association of Social Workers; AARP; PA Association of Retired State Employees; Council of Catholic Women.

Jeanette is survived by several cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, at 10:00 am in the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey.

Private interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Lebanon.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to St. Joan of Arc Memorial Fund, 359 W. Areba Ave. Hershey, PA 17033.

Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., of Hershey is handling the cremation arrangements.
