Kristy Koons (1985 - 2016)

Kristy N. Koons, 30, of Hummelstown, passed away suddenly on May 28, 2016 in her home.

She was born December 29, 1985 in Harrisburg, daughter of Sherry (Clouser) Koons and the late Alexander Koons.

Kristy worked as a preschool teacher for the Derry Presbyterian Church-Derry Discovery Days Program in Hershey and was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Hershey. Her hobbies include scrapbooking, baking, spending time with her nieces and nephew and she loved nothing more than teaching her "little Butterflies" how to fly.

Kristy is survived by: mother, Sherry Koons of Hummelstown; sisters, Michelle Myers & Gabrielle Koons; brother, Zachary Koons; grandparents, Robert J. Clouser Sr. and Joan Clouser; companion of Kristy, Shane Spagnola; nieces, Alexa Myers & Cambree Koons, nephew, Colton Williams.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Lillian Koons.

A visitation will be held Thursday, June 2, 2016, from 10am - 11:30 am, in the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, of Hershey; followed by funeral service at 11:30 am. Interment will be in the Hershey Cemetery.
