Lily Capitani (1928 - 2015)

Lily J. Capitani, 86, of Hershey, passed away June 8, 2015. Born on July 7, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Annina (Bucciotti) Capitani.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Frank A. Capitani, and sisters Laura (Capitani) Martino and Sylvia (Capitani) Pennesi.

Lily was a 1946 graduate of Hershey High School and was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church. Sweet and kind-hearted, Lily held various positions with the former Cocoa Inn and The Hershey Company and had many creative gifts. She enjoyed reading, drawing, and knitting and was a talented seamstress. Her happiest times were those spent with her family and friends.

Lily is survived by her sister, Sister M. Salvatoris, D.M. (Capitani) of Hershey as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 16th, at 11:00am in her church at 359 West Areba Avenue, Hershey, PA 17033. Interment will be in the Hershey Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday morning in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Hershey, from 9:30am - 10:30am.
