Lorraine D. Fetrow, 78, of Palmyra, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at home. Born Wednesday, February 19, 1941 in Ashland, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bryan and Anna Balutis. She was the loving wife of Lowell E. Fetrow, Jr. for 57 years.
Lorraine was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Hershey, and previously served as a Eucharistic Minister at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Palmyra. She retired from AMP, Inc. in Harrisburg where she worked as a lab technician. She also worked for the American Heart Association in Linglestown and the Central PA Blood Bank in Harrisburg. Lorraine was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed cooking. She loved animals, particularly dogs, and enjoyed reading her Bible. In addition to her husband Lowell, she is survived by two sons: Micheal B. Fetrow and wife Nikki of Milton, PA and David L. Fetrow of Harrisburg; five grandchildren: Chris (Colleen), Lauren, Zach, Jessica and Ben; as well as a great granddaughter due in April. Lorraine was predeceased by a twin brother Ronald Balutis and brother Joseph Balutis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 from St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Avenue, Hershey, PA 17033 at 11:00 AM. There will be no viewing. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Until the time of service. Interment will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. On lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lorraine’s memory to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (make a contribution here) or to Grane Hospice, 1200 Camp Hill Bypass, Suite 205, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
