​Marie Theresa Conway (1925-2020)

Marie T. (O’Keefe) Conway, 95, of Tinton Falls NJ and formerly of Hershey PA passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020. She was born January 29, 1925 in Manhattan, NY, a daughter of the late Michael J. and Mary (Keane) O’Keefe.
Marie served in the Marine’s during World War II. She was a home maker and also had been employed as a secretary for Sisters of the Good Shephard and the Franciscan Friars of Atonement at Graymoor. While in Hershey, she was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church and volunteered at the Hershey Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Richard J. Conway. Surviving are her 5 sons, Richard M. Conway of Peekskill, NY, Michael C. (Anne) Conway of Hyattsville, MD, Major Patrick T. (Gloria) Conway of Jacksonville, FL, Daniel J. (Kristine) Conway of Fairfax, VA, John E. (Rose Marie) Conway of Hastings on Hudson, NY; 2 daughters, Mary Martin of Summerville, NC and Brigid Conway of Union Beach, NJ, 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren;
Private interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to Friars of the Atonement, Garrison NY.
