Mark Anthony Brady, 56, of Hummelstown, PA, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021 unexpectedly in Schuylkill County, PA. Born in Norristown, PA, on July 14, 1965, he was the son of Doris Marie Vernacchio Brady of Hummelstown and the late William Anthony Brady. Mark attended John I. Leonard High School in Lake Worth, FL. He attended the University of Florida and went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. He earned his Master’s in Geographic Information Systems from Penn State University. He was a pioneer in the field of GIS, beginning while working at the South Florida Water Management District. He was currently the GIS Coordinator at Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, PA., laying the path for the GIS industry, Mark was well-known and respected in his field, attending and participating in many national conferences. Mark attended St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hershey, with his mother. His love for the outdoors, hunting and fishing, shooting his guns and bows led him to his membership at the Harrisburg Hunters & Anglers Assoc. More than anything, Mark loved his daughter, and his passion was his career and the challenges it brought him. In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by a daughter, Morgan Ann Brady fiancée of Alex Rodriguez of West Palm Beach, FL; a sister, Michele A. Daley of Minnesota; his nephew and nieces, Sean Casey, Kristin Daley and Taylor Daley; great nephew and niece, Gavin McClure and Zoey Casey; and many other family members and dear friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 20, 2021, at 11:00 AM in St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Avenue, Hershey, PA, with The Rev. Fr. Alfred P. Sceski as celebrant. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday in the church from 10 AM until time of the services.
