Mary (Vieli) Whisler (1927 - 2016)

Mary A. Vieli Whisler, 88, of Middletown, formerly of Hershey, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at home. Born December 8, 1927, in Hershey, she was the daughter of the late Pietro and Theresa Gasper.

Mary retired from Hershey Foods with over 22 years of service and was a lifelong member of the St. Joan of Arc Church in Hershey.

Surviving are her son Michael Vieli of Middletown; daughters Rebecca Caruso and husband David of Hershey; Jo-Ann Vieli of Hershey; and Ann-Marie Rudewicz of Harrisburg; 4 grandchildren, Carly Caruso of Middletown, Paul Rudewicz of Harrisburg, Staff Sergeant Tyler Caruso of Quantico, VA, and Bryce Caruso of Hershey; and 2 great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 25, 2016 at 10:30 am in her church. Interment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville. There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary's honor to St. Joan of Arc Church, 359 W. Areba Ave., Hershey, PA 17033.
