![]() Maryann (Agresto) O'Connell, 81of Hummelstown, passed away on February 8, 2021 at the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, PA. She was born March 22, 1939 in Shenandoah, PA, a daughter of the late Patrick and Jennie (Olivetto) Agresto. Maryann had been employed for years as a lab aide at the Penn State School of Medicine at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Although employed at the School of Medicine, her true passion was being a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, helping to raise her grandchildren and praying. She was a kind soul who was willing and able to help anyone in need. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. O'Connell; her son, Frank O'Connell and her sister, Assunta Agresto. Mary Ann is survived by three sons, Joseph P. (Silvia) O'Connell of Palmyra, John K. (Karen) O'Connell of Mt. Joy, and Michael S. (Sandie) O'Connell of Hershey; two daughters, Patricia Jones of York Haven (fiance,Fabian West) and Nancy Keller of Hummelstown; daughter in law, Lisa O'Connell of Harrisburg, grandaughters, Melissa (Jeremy) Gorecki, Michelle O'Connell, Kristen O'Connell, Heather O'Connell, Kyra O'Connell, Ashley (Brad) Redinger, Aleisha (Tommy) Schiavoni, Shanitta (Jon) Gutt, Cheyenne (Kendrell Ervin) Jones, Amanda (Brian) Repa, Samantha Keller, Mariah Keller; grandsons, Jared (Anika) O'Connell, John Patrick (Savanna Sexton) O'Connell and Brandon O’Connell; eleven great grandchildren; two brothers, Patrick (Abbie) Agresto and Carmen (Renee) Agresto; sister, Theresa Corrado and fourteen nieces and nephews. Viewing will begin at 10:30am immediately followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am on Monday, February 15th in the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Hershey. Interment will follow in the Hershey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Heart of the Parish Fund for St. Joan of Arc Church, West Areba Avenue, Hershey, Pa 17033, www.stjoanhershey.org. Comments are closed.
