After a brief battle with cancer, Michael Lynn Hugendubler, affectionately known as “Huggie,” died on November 10, 2017 in Hershey PA at the age of 66. Michael was born May 19, 1951 in Hershey to Jack Hugendubler and the late Mary Green Hugendubler.
He is survived by his four children, Wade Hugendubler, Heather Simonetti, Heide Grove, and Chad Hugendubler and 9 grandchildren; his father Jack Hugendubler; siblings, Mary Biffel, William Hugendubler, Kathleen Thomas, John Hugendubler, Theresa Winfindale, David Hugendubler, Daniel Hugendubler, and Lisa Russek. Huggie grew up in a large loving family. He worked at the H.B. Reese Candy Company since 1969. Huggie loved to read and had a thirst for knowledge. His travels took him all over, including Europe. He had many adventures exploring the Chesapeake on his boat. Huggie was a beloved friend and resident with the Kuhn Family. Visitation will be Friday November 17th from 10:30am-12:30pm at the Hoover Funeral Home and Crematory in Hershey. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00pm in St Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Avenue in Hershey. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Harrisburg, close to his grandmother, Ann Green, and his mother, Mary Hugendubler.
