Nicholas Resanovich (1928 - 2014)

Nicholas Resanovich, 86, of Hershey passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014 in the Hershey Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

He was born January 2, 1928 in Lebanon, PA, a son of the late Ljuban and Mary (Alexich) Resanovich.

Nicholas graduated from Lebanon High School; was a retired employee of HERCO, Inc.; a member of the Holy Resurrection of Christ Serbian Orthodox Church in Lebanon; and an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife, Rose (D'Eramo) Resanovich; daughters, Natalie Brandt of Elizabethtown and Marie Bowman and husband Michael of Hershey; a brother, Milan Resanovich of New Jersey; grandchildren, Angelina Arnold and Troy Coomer; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a special caregiver, Rebecca Zeigler.

A visitation will be held Friday, September 19, 2014, 9:30 am - 10:30 am, in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. in Hershey. Funeral services will immediately follow at 10:30AM with Father Christopher S. Rocknage officiating. Interment will be in the Hershey Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to the Heart of the Parish Fund, c/o St. Joan of Arc Church, 359 W. Areba Avenue, Hershey, PA 17033 or to LOVE, Inc., 64 W. chocolate Avenue, Hershey, PA 17033.
