Robert "Bob" Stephen Robenseifner, 93, of Hershey, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2023.
He was born June 27, 1930, in Harrisburg, son of the late Frank and Anna (Shoggy) Robenseifner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Grace (Day) Robenseifner and four siblings. Bob is survived by his daughter, Lisa Robenseifner and her husband, Larry Albert of Ashburn, VA, two grandsons, Josh and Jacob Albert of Virginia, two great grandsons, Orion and Jaylen, and several dear nieces and nephews. Bob was the quintessential optimist and enjoyed travel, classical music and opera, automobiles, quality time spent with friends, and dining with those he loved. Bob was a proud Marine and served his country during the Korean War. Bob was a graduate of Drake University and had a distinguished career working in the Federal Civil Service at the US Department of Energy and the Government Accountability Office, and as a Diplomat at the United Nations in Vienna, London and Paris. His passion for Austria was obvious by his extensive classical and opera music collection and in his artwork and library and he traveled to Austria frequently in retirement to visit his many friends and colleagues. He was a member of Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees where he served as the local chapter President for many years. A visitation will be held Monday, November 6, 2023, from 5 to 7 PM, at the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, 88 Lucy Ave, Hershey.
