Rosemary Scott (1940-2022)

Rosemary A. Scott, 81,of Hummelstown, passed away on April 23, 2022 in her home with her family by her side. She was born May 11, 1940 in Hummelstown, a daughter of the late Thomas H. McCurdy and the late Laura (DiSantis) Wagner.
Rosemary had been employed as a service manager at Hoffman Ford and Hartman Toyota. In her later years she had been bartending at the Rutherford Amvets and Hummelstown VFW. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Hershey, Hershey VFW and the Hershey American Legion Auxillary's.

She is survived by her 4 children, Deborah O'Donnell-White of Maryland, Renee Rumberger of Mechanicsburg, John F (Melissa) Scott of Hershey and Kerrin M (Randy) Lutz of Hummelstown; her companion of 36 years, Donald J. Hopple of Hummelstown, sister, Veronica Miller of Harrisburg, brother, Thomas H. McCurdy, Jr. of FL; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter and infant great grandson.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 3rd from 10:30am - 11:30am immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey. Interment will be in the Hershey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg PA 17110.
